Babe Zaharias Memorial Relays

The 2013 Babe Zaharias Memorial Relays, a project of the Young Men’s Business League, will be held November 5th & 6th at Babe Zaharias Stadium in Beaumont. 

 

The primary purpose of this annual track and field event is to contribute to the physical, social, and psychological development of special students from all across Southeast Texas.   This year over 600 participants wil enjoy events like the 100 Yard Dash, 25 Yard Dash, 50 Yard Dash, Softball Throw, Standing Broad Jump, Football Relay, Shuttle Relay, Sack Relays, Basketball Freethrow, Obstacle Course and everyone's favorite the Tug-O-War.

 

The YMBL would like to thank the teachers, administrators, community volunteers, area businesses, BISD, and YMBL volunteers for their dedication to this wonderful and needed event for some very deserving kids. With your continued unselfish efforts and dedication this event will continue to enchance the lives of many.
