YMBL ELECTS PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF DIRECTORS FOR THE YEAR 2012

Mark McAdams was elected President of the Young Men’s Business League at the annual YMBL Election meeting held November 1, 2011 in the Exhibition Hall at Ford Park and will be installed into office at the organizations first Board of Directors Meeting January 26, 2012.
 
McAdams is employed with Rawson & Company in outside sales. He and his family reside in Groves. Mark has been an active member of the YMBL and has held multiple leadership positions with the organization since joining in 1998. He is in his seventh term on the YMBL Board of Directors. His commitment and dedication to the organization will be a tremendous asset as the YMBL begins its 95th year of service to Southeast Texas.
 
The YMBL was founded in 1917 with Ed Paggi serving as its first President. As he prepares himself to lead the group into its 95th year, McAdams says, “My expectation is to continue to involve the YMBL membership and resources in meeting community needs.”
 
Also elected, and will serve as officers, were Jessie Gonzales, First Vice-President; Steve Lyle, Second Vice-President; Jimmy Ward, Third Vice-President; and Wayne Stokely, Treasurer. Malcolm Ray the 2011 President will automatically return to the board.
Re-elected to the Board of Directors in addition to the officers were Ken Dollinger, John Galvan, Rudy Garcia, Jay Johnson, Mitch Macon and Greg Wall.
 
New board members elected for 2012 were: A.J. Boudreaux, Dean Clayton, Bill Collins, Scott Droddy, Clint Lewis, Kerry Moncla, David Ozment, Jay Spikes and Harvey Zernial. The new officers and directors offically assume their duties January 1, 2012.
