MUTTON BUSTIN’: The Mutton Bustin' event is a huge crowd
pleaser. Small contestants "cowboy up" and hold on for 6 exciting
seconds! The audience goes wild as these young rodeo contestants take a
thrilling ride. The Mutton Bustin' event takes place during each rodeo
performance. Participation is limited to boys and girls between the ages of 5-7
and weighing NO MORE THAN 55 lbs., at the time of competition. Contestants
will be selected from a pool of qualified entries.
A parent or legal guardian must register their child at the MUTTON BUSTIN REGISTRATION TABLE
located on the upper level of Ford Arena at Ford Park. Registration for
participation will begin at
on Friday, March 23rd
for that night’s Rodeo performance.

All registrants, regardless of age, will be required to
weigh in during the registration process. The first 20 children that are
determined to be eligible will participate on the night they are determined
Safety helmets and vests must be worn by all participants
and will be provided by Frontier Rodeo. Riders may use their own safety equipment
if it meets all of the minimum standards as set out by Frontier Rodeo. Chaps
are optional and may be worn. Ropes and spurs are not allowed.
A release waiver must be completed before a participant can
be fitted for a helmet and vest.
Buckles are awarded to 1st place winners.
REGISTRATION WILL NOT BE COMPLETE UNTIL WE RECEIVE A COPY OF
YOUR CHILD'S BIRTH CERTIFICATE AND A SIGNED COPY OF THE RELEASE OF LIABILITY
