MUTTON BUSTIN’: The South Texas State Fair Rodeo is thrilled to announce a unique Mutton Bustin' experience. Riders will compete for 1 of 10 slots to ride during each night's Rodeo and Bull Ride performances.

Contestant Eligibility

Boys and Girls between the ages of 5 and 7 at the time of the event.
Proof of age is required before participation.
Must weigh NO MORE THAN 55 lbs. fully clothed at the time of participation. Contestants will be weighed before a performance.
Contestants will pay a $20.00 entry fee; all sales are final.
Parent/Guardian must complete the Medical Questionnaire.
Parent/Guardian must sign the Participant Release & Waiver Form.
A copy of a Birth Certificate is required.
Entry Deadline March 13, 2025.

Rider Personality
Sheep Difficulty
Ride Time & Distance on Sheep
