ADA INFORMATION
SOUTH TEXAS STATE FAIR
The South Texas State Fair strives to comply with the American with Disabilities Act (ADA) regulations. We are committed to working with Jefferson County, the owners of the facility, to make the facility accessible to all guests.

Ford Park meets and exceeds all structural and service requirements stipulated in the Americans with Disabilities Act. All public restrooms and entrances are clearly labeled and equipped with Braille marked signs. Restrooms, drinking fountains and permanently installed counters (concessions located in the Arena) are accessible to guests with disabilities. Additional services are listed below.

Parking
Accessible parking is available on a first come first serve basis at Ford Park in the Black and Blue Lots. Parking entrances are located off of the I-10 frontage road to the north and Pipeline Road off of Hwy 124.

Elevators
An elevator is located in the lobby of the Ford Exhibit Hall for wheelchair access to the concourse level of Ford Arena and the second floor meeting rooms of Ford Exhibit Hall.

Sign Language Interpreters
Sign language interpreters are available to assist Deaf guests from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Saturday, March 23, 2024 and on a date to be specified each year, for the South Texas State Fair Rodeo performance. To request an interpreter for the Rodeo, please contact the Young Men's Business League at 409-832-9991 or info@ymbl.org at least one week in advance of the Rodeo. Requests made after that time may be impossible to fulfill.

Service Animals
Trained guide dogs or service animals are permitted in Ford Park. All other animals are prohibited.

Midway Rides
In accordance with ADA statutes, any physically or mentally challenged individual may ride any carnival ride, providing that the individual can enter and exit without the assistance of the ride operator.
