Do you accept credit cards on site?
Credit Cards are accepted for gate admission tickets. Most food vendors do not accept credit cards. ATM machines are located throughout the grounds.
Is there a dress code to enter the Fair?
All guests entering the South Texas State Fair must be appropriately dressed, including a shirt and shoes. Face covering garments are NOT allowed. Guests wearing obscene, offensive, or indecent clothing will not be permitted to enter. YMBL reserves the right to determine what clothing is vulgar, offensive or indecent without any liability. Don't forget to wear comfortable shoes!
What items are NOT allowed at the South Texas State Fair?
• Weapons (guns, etc.)
• Sharp metal objects (knives, swords, scissors and the like with blades)
• Liquids (except baby formula or those items deemed necessary by security at the gate)
• Alcohol
• Large Purses and Bags - we have implemented a clear bag policy.
What day is Kids Day?
Kids Day will be the second Saturday of the Fair. Youths ages 3 - 17 will be admitted for free from 12:00 noon until 3:00 p.m. After 3:00 p.m., regular ticket prices apply. Kids Aged 2 and under are FREE, and Ages 3 and up are $10.00.
Who are the entertainers for the Fair?
SWEET SOUTHERN SOUND STAGE FREE ACTS: Once again the Fair will feature the best in family type entertainment. Come enjoy some of the areas top entertainers. Our lineup is sure to please every type of musical taste. See our Entertainment Schedule on our website.

Is there First Aid at the Fair?
Yes there are two First Aid Stations located on the grounds. One is at the rear of Ford Arena near the Livestock Barns. Another is on the Carnival Midway near the Ford Pavilion.
Photography & Video Notice
By entering the fairgrounds or purchasing an admission ticket to the YMBL South Texas State Fair, YMBL Rodeo, CHUTE OUT Bull Ride, or any related YMBL event, you acknowledge and agree that photography, audio recording, and video recording may occur on the premises.
You grant the Young Men’s Business League (YMBL) and its agents, sponsors, partners, and authorized representatives the irrevocable right and permission to photograph, record, use, reproduce, publish, distribute, and display your image, likeness, voice, and/or appearance in any media now known or hereafter developed. These materials may be used without limitation for promotional, advertising, marketing, educational, or public relations purposes, without compensation or further notice.
By entering the premises, you waive any right to inspect or approve any photograph or recording and release YMBL from any and all claims, including but not limited to claims for compensation, royalties, invasion of privacy, or misappropriation related to the use of these materials.
If you do not wish to be photographed or recorded, please refrain from entering areas where photography or recording is taking place.

ADA Information
What about American with Disabilities Act (ADA) regulations?
The South Texas State Fair strives to comply with the American with Disabilities Act (ADA) regulations. We are committed to working with Jefferson County, the owners of the facility, to make the facility accessible to all guests.
Ford Park meets and exceeds all structural and service requirements stipulated in the Americans with Disabilities Act. All public restrooms and entrances are clearly labeled and equipped with Braille marked signs. Restrooms, drinking fountains and permanently installed counters (concessions located in the Arena) are accessible to guests with disabilities. Additional services are listed below.
Parking
Accessible parking is available on a first come first serve basis at Ford Park in the Black and Blue Lots. Parking entrances are located off of the I-10 frontage road to the north and Pipeline Road off of Hwy 124.
Elevators
An elevator is located in the lobby of the Ford Exhibit Hall for wheelchair access to the concourse level of Ford Arena and the second floor meeting rooms of Ford Exhibit Hall.
Sign Language Interpreters
Sign language interpreters are available to assist Deaf guests from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Saturday, March 29, 2025 and on a date to be specified each year, for the South Texas State Fair Rodeo performance. To request an interpreter for the Rodeo, please contact the Young Men's Business League at 409-832-9991 or info@ymbl.org at least one week in advance of the Rodeo. Requests made after that time may be impossible to fulfill.
Service Animals
Trained guide dogs or service animals are permitted in Ford Park. All other animals are prohibited.
Midway Rides
In accordance with ADA statutes, any physically or mentally challenged individual may ride any carnival ride, providing that the individual can enter and exit without the assistance of the ride operator.
