1st Vice President, is in charge of the South Texas State Fair, Kids Day rodeo, Rodeo and Bull Ride.

YMBL EQUIPMENT INVENTORY, This committee is charged with the responsibility of labeling, inventorying and maintaining all YMBL owned equipment. An additional responsibility of the committee will be to handle all aspects of loaning out YMBL equipment, when necessary.

JEFFERSON LONG TERM RECOVERY
This committee assists the Jefferson County Long Term Recovery Group by providing consistent support through funding, volunteer resources, and participation in collaborative efforts. They also work with JCLTRG to meet the evolving needs of individuals affected by disasters.

YMBL LADIES NIGHT, Since 1947, when the late Cliff H. LeBlanc, Sr., was YMBL president and originator of Ladies Night, this banquet has paid tribute to the wives of YMBL members and has been a thank you to the ladies for allowing their husbands time away from home and family to work on YMBL projects and activities. The event always offers fine food and entertainment and a real "night out" for the ladies.

STRATEGIC PLANNING COMMITTEE, This committee is charged with the responsibility of clarifying and solidifying that the organization’s purpose and mission are being achieved.

YMBL/BISD Junior Golf project, endorsed by several area school districts, the tournament is open to all junior golfers and is played on one of Southeast Texas's local courses. The tournament format features opportunities for both girls and boys of various age groups.

YOUTH CLAY SHOOT,
The YMBL Youth Clay Shoot is a competition that includes the disciplines of skeet, sporting clays, and trap for youth ages 18 and below. This is an opportunity for youth shooting teams and individuals to compete with competitors from all around Southeast Texas. Held at the Hardin County One in One Hundred Gun Club, participants enjoy competing on combination trap/skeet fields, sporting clay courses, and a 5-Stand field.

BABE ZAHARIAS RELAYS, This track and field meet, where every participant is a winner, is designed for those youngsters from the area who cannot participate in regular sporting activities because of a mental or physical handicap. The Zaharias attracts hundreds of participants each year from the surrounding ten county area. This event is usually held in early November of each year at a BISD Stadium.

MEMBERSHIP MENTORING COMMITTEE, The lifeblood of any volunteer organization is membership and this committee will begin its work in late June signing new members and encouraging current members to pay their dues early to ensure their place on the membership rolls and projects during the coming year. This committee is also designed to build professional relationships within the organization and provide a source of encouragement, advice and motivation to the select YMBL members. The program also seeks to make members comfortable approaching a Mentor for advice on any matter pertaining to the YMBL projects, service and leadership in which they find themselves involved or desires to be involved in.

MEMBERS WELCOME
DINNER/CASINO NIGHT.
The Member’s Welcome is a fitting climax to a successful membership drive each year and is designed to acquaint new YMBLers with the organization's many civic projects and impress upon them the important role the YMBL has played in the growth and prosperity of the community. There is always plenty of good food and refreshments to go along with the fellowship. A brief program is interspersed with valuable door prizes for lucky ticket holders.

GIRLS VOLLEYBALL TOURNAMENT, This high school tournament for girls has an excellent reputation throughout the state and in past tournaments; many of the winning teams have gone on to gain state championships. Set for an early September date, the tournament is traditionally staged at Beaumont United and West Brook High Schools. These young ladies play exciting and fast volleyball and fans are invited to see all the games.

FAIR VOLUNTEER DINNER, A great get together of all YMBL members in the spring to thank them for all the help they have given the organization all year long. This party, when all YMBL members and their families are invited, is held right before the South Texas State Fair opens, also gives members an opportunity to volunteer for jobs at the Fair. Dinner is served and door prizes are awarded to lucky ticket holders. In addition, there is a short program of introductions.

5K RIBBON RUN, This committee assists the Gift of Life with the production of their annual Julie Richardson Proctor 5K Ribbon Run. The event provides an opportunity for the community to come together to raise awareness of breast, prostate and testicular, ovarian and other gynecological cancers; conveying the important message that early detection is the best protection in the fight against cancer; communicating the negative effects of tobacco; and providing a support system for survivors. This event is usually held in October in downtown Beaumont.

GIRLS VOLLEYBALL TOURNAMENT, This high school tournament for girls has an excellent reputation throughout the state and in past tournaments; many of the winning teams have gone on to gain state championships. Set for an early September date, the tournament is traditionally staged at Beaumont United and West Brook High Schools. These young ladies play exciting and fast volleyball and fans are invited to see all the games.

YMBL SOUTH TEXAS SHOOT-OUT, Some of the most exciting high school basketball in this part of the country will be played during this three-day tourney. Set for an early December date the tournament is expected to draw some of the best teams in Texas and Louisiana. The tournament, one the YMBL began in 1952, is one of the YMBL’s oldest continuing projects and is also one of the state's most prestigious high school events.

BIKES & BIBLES, This committee assists the Reaud Foundation with the production of their annual Bikes and Bibles celebration. The event provides holiday cheer to children who may not otherwise have presents to open Christmas Day. The foundation gives away bicycles, bibles, balls, backpacks, and toys. They also provide a morning of entertainment and food for the entire family. Attendance is by invitation only. This event is usually held in December at Ford Park in Beaumont.

COMMUNITY SERVICE COMMITTEE
This committee oversees the YMBL Scholarship programs as a primary assignment. Another responsibility of this committee is the YMBL’s Food Basket Outreach project, which distributes food baskets to those in the community who are in need. This is an enriching program for all participants. This committee is also responsible for identifying local 501 (c) (3) Non-Profit corporations and assisting them with a project or activity.

FAIR BUYERS COMMITTEE, Sometimes known as the Fair Auction Committee, the committee's primary function is to contact local and area businesses as well as other interested individuals to underwrite the annual South Texas State Fair's Junior Livestock and Poultry Auctions. Annually, more than $800,000.00 is raised through bids for those youngsters whose animals competed in the Junior Shows at the Fair, and then qualified to be sold at the Auction.

SPECIAL KIDS DAY RODEO, Named after the late Judge Harold Engstrom who started this event in 1990, the primary responsibility of the committee is to organize and stage the annual Special Kids Day at the YMBL Rodeo. Hundreds of mentally and or physically challenged youngsters from the area are invited to attend this special outing, usually held before the day before the YMBL Rodeo opens to the public.
