This will be the 5th year assisting Gift of Life with this event. We supply golf carts and radios. Some of the jobs include loading and unloading pods, setting up tents, water stations and candy stations. We also help tear down after the event.
The Julie Richardson Proctor 5K Ribbon Run provides an opportunity for the community to come together to raise awareness of breast, prostate, testicular, ovarian and other gynecological cancers; conveying the important message that early detection is the best protection in the fight against cancer; communicating the adverse effects of tobacco; and providing a support system for survivors. This event is held in downtown Beaumont.
