YMBL Junior Golf Tournament
Tuesday, January 27th STPGA Junior Golf Tournament. This year’s event expects to have over 75 young golf enthusiasts to participate. The tournament is sanctioned by the STPGA and is open to all junior golfers who are members of the STPGA. The tournament will be held Sunday at the Brentwood Golf Course in Beaumont and Monday at the Beaumont Country Club Course, in Beaumont. The Southern Texas PGA program itself is open to boys and girls of two age groups.
The Little Linksters, ages 7 to 12 and the Juniors, ages 12 to 18. Anyone can join the program.
In order to participate in this tournament, the boys and girls have to be a member of the STPGA program, and have successfully completed an STPGA Instructional Clinic, Approved Clinic, or Advanced Clinic and qualified to play in the tournament. Tee off times will begin at 8:00 AM.
The STPGA Program is available in Austin, Beaumont, Bryan / College Station, Corpus Christi, Houston, Rio Grande Valley, and San Antonio areas. The program will conduct tournaments throughout those geographical areas this summer.
